This album, our first, was largely a product of the COVID lockdown. We spend most of the year working, listening, getting perspective, and finding the right unifying themes. The title track, Home, was the last track, added just before release, telling the story of Daniel’s experience during the lockdown – being really productive and trying to stay positive, but feeling the repetitiveness of each day. The loneliness, and trying to hang on until we can all.

Story
Super Fantatics began through a residency at White Rabbit in San Fransisco in 2019. In early 2020, dove into full recording mode, hoping to emerge from the lockdown full of new music for our friends.

The Home Studio
Recorded entirely at the lengendary Hyde Street Studios with veteran drummer/producer Chris McGrew. Built in 1969, Studio C (aka Wally's HydeOut in honor of the original owner, Wally Heider) has been home to many epic recordings, including classics by Jefferson Airplane, The Grateful Dead, Cake, Green Day, Janis Joplin, Digital Underground, and Rickie Lee Jones. This album, Home, has a classic sound and vibe of the room.
